The resounding success of the Blackwood and Hickory Project coupled with the immense work Mid Argyll Pipe Band does both Nationally and Internationaly has earned them the nomination for the prestigious award "Hands Up for Trad - Scottish Traditional Music Award ".  A truly well deserved nomination for the band who's hard work and determination brings not only the heritage of traditional music to new and established audiences alike, but who are also the conduit for some of Scotland's newest writing talent from Mid Argyll.  They are the Peoples band - Nominated under the Best Pipe Band category...: . ....more.
