The resounding success of the Blackwood and Hickory Project coupled with the immense work Mid Argyll Pipe Band does both Nationally and Internationaly has earned them the nomination for the prestigious award "Hands Up for Trad - Scottish Traditional Music Award ".  A truly well deserved nomination for the band who's hard work and determination brings not only the heritage of traditional music to new and established audiences alike, but who are also the conduit for some of Scotland's newest writing talentfrom Mid Argyll.  They are the Peoples band - Nominated under the Best Pipe Band category

Working towards the big gig on 15th September 2007.  Breaking the mould and moving forward, Mid Argyll Pipe Band take new tunes and old and add a little spice that will certainly kick up the floor.  This special performance will celebrate the past, present and future.

Biscuits are currently recording the next album production (no-name as yet) due for release early 2008.  It's shaping up to be as diverse as The Distance with a strong emphasis on the biscuit flavour.  Keep posted for further info coming soon
