NEW RELEASE
Stay Home, the new 5 track EP from Wild Biscuit, once again featuring the collaborative teamwork of John Saich (formerly of Celtic supergroup Capercaillie), Mags Russell and Travis drummer Neil Primrose. Like their previous album The Distance, which attracted great acclaim from UK music critics, this latest release builds on the surreal Celtic grooviness that Wild Biscuit are rapidly claiming as their own particular niche from their base in Argyll.
Some elements introduced on the previous album The Distance have risen to prominence - guitar especially, and more surprisingly the Irish bodhran, which has found it's home weaving in and out of the drums and layered vocals. Harmonies are a major ingredient, and overall Stay Home has a more live and less sequenced approach than previous releases.
